Hello guys,
it would be really a shame if i don't share some thoughts on one of my all times favorite gen.
Its affordable, real certified ISO 6425 diver, build like tank, eco drive (light powered quartz) and the sec hand actualy hits all the markers.. not like the phoney swiss quartz
I had the titanium version, liked it a lot, the greyish color of the titanium, and it felt heavy despite ti is lighter than ss.
I wore it proudly, but that days i didn't know there were adapters to put straps and natos.. the original rubber is kind a hard on the wrist.
So that put it on sale.. if i knew i would miss it so much and they would become rare. Thats 2014y
Its generaly a big and bulky watch - 48mm case, and 18mm thick. Mineral glas.
Nice hands that can be clearly seen and good lume, typicaly blue for citizen and green is the bezel dot.
WR is nice 300m. Screw down destro crown and beautiful caseback with all data.
And what do you know ? Recently i started wanting one again, one to be a keeper. After searching for a while i find very good offer for a SS one with adaptors.
What a luck, and it was available, BUT was CONUS only deal... so good i have a friend who bought it and send to me in EU.
Here's the beast. In mint condition on a grey nato that suits him very well.
i did few experiments and changed him on rubber, leather, zulu...
on cuda
camo zulu
funky leather
if you wonder my wrist is about18,5-19mm, so not a huge one.
Its a hard watch to get pass the door frame without busting it
Not mine photo, i dont actualy like opening unopened wathces. This how it looks inside.
Hey and there is more.
I had a watch for sale from a quite long time, suddenly a guy calls for a trade, and YES i got it.
Some pic with integrated rubber.
Guess this is my soft spot, big chunky divers
This for me is a must have diver in the box, along with some seikos, like the black monster
padi turtle and a sumo.. but that's another story..
Thank you for the audience.
